RENTER QUALIFICATION

Renters must be 21 years or older to rent. Rates listed online are for 25 years and older. A valid drivers license and valid payment card must be presented at time of pick-up. International Drivers License: Valid International drivers license is required to drive in all states. Cancellations made more than 48 hours prior to rental are at no charge. Cancellations made within this 48-hour period prior to your rental are subject to a one-day rental charge. We ask that you cancel your reservation directly on the website that you booked with to avoid any additional fees. ACE / MEX has the right to cancel reservations booked due to error or unforeseen issues, including prepay. Grace Period: We offer a four hour grace period after your scheduled return time listed on your contract. Late Returns or Extensions: Any late returns or extensions can be subject to a higher daily or weekly rate with a $25.00 USD extension fee. Please check with your renting office if you need to extend your rental. Delayed Pickups: Reservations will be honored for 2 hours after your scheduled pickup time only. Please make sure to call your renting office if you are going to be delayed more than 2 hours. After Hours Return ATELIER HOTEL 7114 WILL CLAYTON PARKWAY HUMBLE TEXAS 77338 DROP VEHICLE AT HOTEL LEAVE THE KEYS AT THE FRONT DESK AFTER HOUR DROP FEE $20.00 USD.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Amex, Discover, MasterCard and Visa Credit card/ Debit card policy: Debit card must have a Visa or MasterCard logo. Debit card/Credit card and driver’s license must be in same name. Required at time of rental. ACE / MEX will charge the amount of the rental and an additional $200.00 USD as a security deposit. Unused funds upon return will be credited back to the card. This process may take up to 14 days for a credit to appear back on your account due to bank processing standards Your rental may have mandatory, local insurance requirements that result in additional charges at the time of rental.

YOUNG AND ADDITIONAL DRIVERS

Renters must be 21 years or older to rent. Rates listed online are for 25 years and older. A valid driver license and valid payment card must be presented at time of pick-up. Age 21-24 -Underage fee of $25.00 USD/Day applies to any driver under the age of 25 no exceptions Additional Drivers are subject to a $11.95 USD/Day per driver additional driver fee. All additional drivers will need to qualify by presenting a valid driver’s license and additional contact information. The minimum age for additional drivers is 21. Underage fees apply to any driver under the age of 25, no exceptions. We offer one free additional driver in CA locations only. ACE will provide hand controls at no additional charge. A 72 Hrs. advanced notice is required, and renter needs to contact the location directly by phone prior to rental.

GEOGRAPHIC

ACE Rent A Car offers the purchase of Mexico Insurance on vehicle rentals. Mexico insurance required to be purchased at the ACE location 72 hours prior to travel to Mexico. Rates start at $50.00 USD per calendar day including tax. Travel is allowed to cities in Mexico close to California and Arizona border.

LOCAL RENTER REQUIREMENTS

Local Renters are defined as living within a 120 mile radius of the renting location. Credit Card Use Policy: Local Renters will be subject to a $200.00 USD deposit in addition to the cost of the rental. Debit Card Use Policy: Local Renters will be required to provide a utility bill with an address that matches the renters license. Debit Cards will also be subject to a $200.00 USD deposit on top of rental charges. If your address has changed or updated, we will accept two bills with your new address that does not match your license. Local Renter Mileage Policy: Local renters are subject to a 375 miles per day allowance on all vehicle classes, with a 3,000 mile total mileage cap on the rental. Miles in excess of 375 per day allowance will be charged at $0.25 USD per mile. Miles in excess of 3,000 total mileage cap will be charged at $0.50 cents per mile regardless of length of rental unless authorized in writing by ACE / MEX Leadership. ACE / MEX, prohibits the our rental vehicles for being used in commercial aspects, without prior written consent from the owner. Any parties found in violation of this policy will void the current contract and be will be charged at a higher rate based on the vehicle rented and $0.69 USD/mile + taxes/fees.

SHUTTLE

ACE Rent A Car will be the provider for your car on this location and is a short shuttle ride from the airport. Once you have collected all you luggage, please call 281 616-74711 for pick up, proceed to the Shuttle pick up area located just outside the terminal. An Atelier Shuttle bus will arrive in approximately 10 mins.

GENERAL RULES APPLICABLE TO ALL RENTALS

It is our policy to hold reservations up to four hours beyond the scheduled arrival time, subject to published office hours. If you experience delays, please contact the rental office so that they can make their best effort to extend your reservation.

Daily and Weekend rates are for a 24 hour period.

The quoted rate is valid only for the requested vehicle class for the requested dates and times. Any adjustments or changes to the reservation may result in a change of rate.

Early returns will be charged the regular daily rate, and may not result in a refund.

Transactions are conducted in United States Dollars

Estimated total price includes the vehicle rental (time and mileage) plus applicable taxes and fees. The estimated total price does not include damage waivers, insurance products, special equipment, additional driver fees, driver age surcharges, or any other items not specifically listed in the quotation.
